Warehouse & Internal Logistics Manager

About the role

ABB is looking for a Warehouse & Internal Logistics Manager to lead warehouse and internal logistics operations at its Monterrey 3.0 site in Mexico, within the ELSP (Smart Power) business. The manager ensures the safe, efficient and accurate flow of materials and finished goods, supports business continuity, customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance, and leads a high-performing team. The role is on-site, and global relocation or LTA support is not considered.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment and shipping.
• Keep inventory accurate through effective inventory management and timely system transactions.
• Develop, coach and lead warehouse personnel toward safety, quality, service and productivity goals.
• Drive continuous improvement focused on efficiency, cost reduction and waste elimination.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with suppliers, carriers, production and customer service teams.
• Manage warehouse capacity, labor planning, equipment utilization and operating budgets.
• Monitor and achieve warehouse KPIs and ensure compliance with policies, safety regulations and quality standards.
• Support uninterrupted production and customer deliveries through effective material flow management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics or supply chain management.
• Proven experience leading warehouse teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Resilient, adaptable and proactive leader with strong stress management and decision-making skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle or similar.
• Experience with inventory control, warehouse optimization and logistics processes.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with IMMEX and C-TPAT requirements.
